Once mortal wizards, the Tremere got their knowledge of vampirism by
studying them in some covert war during the Dark Ages and hunted down and killed
an ancient bloodline to gain legitimacy in the Cainite society. These Warlocks
are feared by other clans and they like it that way. The clan is distinctly divided in it's hierarchy. The new childer strive to outperform each other while trying to maintain their loyalty to the clan and the Camarilla in that order. The Tremere primarily Embrace those practitioners of the arcane but not exclusively. The qualities they look for are self-discipline and a will to power. The other qualities of the clan can be taught later. Their discipline of Thaumaturgy gives them a gruding respect among the other clans. And it is this discipline that the Tremere use to influence Kindred society and research their own occult ways. |
